Why it matters
Dogtra's GPS FENCE uses your phone only to draw the boundary. Once the map is set, the collar enforces it on its own, so a dead phone or a trip away from home doesn't switch the fence off.
Dogtra puts the required space at about half a football field, or at least 3/4 acre. That makes it a large-lot product like the Guardian models, at a lower price.
