How the math works
SnoutSmart mathTotal = (device price + plan price converted to a yearly rate × years) × number of dogs. A plan billed every 2 or 5 years is spread evenly per year. Multi-dog discounts, taxes, shipping, accessories and introductory offers are not included.
LimitsOnly devices whose plan prices the makers publish are listed. Plan prices change often. Check the maker's current price before you buy.
Questions
Why isn't my tracker listed?
We list a device only when its maker publishes plan prices we can source and date, or when it needs no plan. Fi and Petcube didn't show plan prices on the pages we read.
Does this include free trials?
No. Trials and first-year promotions vary and expire, so the totals use the listed plan price.
