Why it matters
Himal uses durable 600D nylon with breathable mesh lining. A reinforced top handle helps over obstacles, a stitched rear D-ring takes the leash, the fit adjusts, and zippered side pockets carry water, food and toys. One-year warranty.

- One-year warranty
Cons

Limitations to weigh
- Start with an empty pack and keep loads light; a fit adult dog should carry no more than about 10–25% of its weight, and puppies none. Ask your vet first.
- Measure chest girth, neck and back length with a soft tape and use the maker's chart; between sizes, size up.
