Why it matters
Designed for heavy shedders and thick double coats, the kit vacuums loose hair as you brush with a metal-point grooming brush and deshedding brush. It runs at about 59–60 dB with three suction levels, holds 1.5 L, and includes a hair remover roller and crevice tool on a 4.9 ft hose.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Heavy shedders
- Double coats
- Seasonal blowouts
Look elsewhere if
- Clipping needs
- Noise-phobic dogs
- Tiny dogs
Pros and cons
Pros
- Shedding focus
- 1.5 L capacity
- Quiet
Cons
- No clipper
- Corded
- Short hose
Limitations to weigh
- Introduce the vacuum on its lowest setting at a distance first; many dogs need several sessions to accept the noise.
- Deshedding tools work on the undercoat; use light strokes, a few minutes at a time, and skip broken or irritated skin.
