Why it matters
The 3 L dust cup, about twice the size of most, often lasts several sessions. Suction reaches 13,000 Pa in three levels at about 60 dB. The 7-in-1 kit includes a slicker brush, deshedding brush, cordless clippers with six combs (3–18 mm), a paw trimmer and a nail grinder; the cordless tools work alone or connected to the vacuum hose.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Long-haired breeds
- Multi-dog homes
- Nail care too
Look elsewhere if
- Small apartments
- Noise-phobic dogs
- Light lifting (11 lb)
Pros and cons
Pros
- 3 L cup
- Cordless tools
- Nail grinder
Cons
- Heavy
- Corded base
- Price
Limitations to weigh
- Introduce the vacuum on its lowest setting at a distance first; many dogs need several sessions to accept the noise.
- Brush out mats before clipping, keep the blade flat against the coat and check blade heat often; double-coated breeds should not be shaved short without groomer or vet advice.
