Why it matters
Instead of covering the whole bench, the YoGi Prime hammock covers one side of a split back seat, so a passenger or child seat can use the other side. It is waterproof, non-slip and machine washable, and the listing includes a leash.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Families sharing the back seat
- Small and medium dogs
- Split rear seats
Look elsewhere if
- Large dogs that need the full bench
- Crash restraint
- Chewers
Pros and cons
Pros
- Leaves room for passengers
- Machine washable
- Hammock sides
Cons
- Covers half the seat only
- Not a restraint
- Measure your seat
Limitations to weigh
- A seat cover protects the car, not the dog in a crash; use a car harness, secured crate or barrier for restraint.
