Why it matters
Ruff Liners lists specific compatible vehicles, such as the Honda Accord, Civic and CR-V and Ford Escape, and says the standard size will not fit full-size trucks. The quilted waterproof P600D Oxford wrap is about 52.4 in long, with door protection, seat belt openings, window inserts, anchor straps and a travel bag. It is machine washable.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Cars and mid-size SUVs on the fit list
- Owners wanting a precise fit
- Daily use
Look elsewhere if
- Full-size trucks
- Budget buyers
- Crash restraint
Pros and cons
Pros
- Named vehicle fits
- Door protection
- Machine washable
Cons
- High price
- Size-specific
- Not a restraint
Limitations to weigh
- A seat cover protects the car, not the dog in a crash; use a car harness, secured crate or barrier for restraint.
