Why it matters
The large fits necks of 21–28 in and chests of 24–39 in, for breeds like German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. Two metal shoulder buckles take the main pulling force, with four plastic buckles. MOLLE panels on both sides carry pouches and bottles, hook-and-loop panels take patches, and three stainless D-rings include a front anti-pull clip.

Limitations to weigh
- Tactical harnesses are heavier than everyday harnesses; MOLLE gear should stay light, and the handle is for brief assists, not lifting a dog's full weight for long.
- Measure the widest part of the chest behind the front legs; you should fit two fingers under every strap.
