Why it matters
The Sporn harness slips over the head and the legs go through padded restraint sleeves that reduce rubbing. When your dog pulls, the elastic mesh chest flexes and gently redirects it, a cord lock keeps the fit, and a metal D-ring takes the leash. The small fits 9–12 in necks. Lifetime guarantee, excluding chewing.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Moderate to heavy pullers
- Small to large dogs
- Training
Look elsewhere if
- Escape artists
- Car restraint
- Dogs that dislike leg sleeves
Pros and cons
Pros
- Padded sleeves
- Lifetime guarantee
- Light
Cons
- Unusual fit
- Hand wash
- Sizing by neck
Limitations to weigh
- Front-clip harnesses reduce pulling but do not teach loose-leash walking on their own; pair them with reward-based training.
- Measure the widest part of the chest behind the front legs; you should fit two fingers under every strap.
