Why it matters
The 15 L (4 gal) tank is SUS304 stainless steel for multi-dog homes. Five-layer filtration combines sponge, PP cotton and coconut-shell carbon, and the pump runs under 25 dB. A 5 V adapter, cleaning brush and tweezers are included. One-year warranty.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Several large dogs
- Fewer refills
- Stainless fans
Look elsewhere if
- Owners who won't clean weekly
- Cord chewers (use cordless)
- Outdoor use (unless rated)
Pros and cons
Pros
- 15 L
- 5-layer filter
- Stainless
Cons
- Large footprint
- Heavy when full
- Corded
Limitations to weigh
- Take the fountain apart and clean the pump weekly, and change filters as the maker directs; slime builds up fast in warm rooms.
- Keep the cord out of reach of chewers, and keep the pump covered with water so it doesn't run dry.
