Why it matters
At 16 in tall, adults step over it while small pets stay in. Four all-metal panels with rust-proof coating span 48 in, and 360-degree hinges fold it like an accordion. Snughome advises checking your dog's jumping ability first.

- For jumpers, choose a gate taller than your dog can clear from a standstill; most dogs need at least shoulder height plus several inches.
