Why it matters
The seat measures 18 x 16.3 x 19.7 in for dogs up to 26 lb. A 6 in, 25D memory-foam base raises your dog, a waterproof liner protects the foam from spills, and the cover is reversible (cooling Oxford for summer). A headrest and thicker sidewalls cradle the neck, and a Y-shaped belt helps prevent tangling. The cover is machine washable and dryer-safe.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Good fit if
- Small dogs to 26 lb
- Dogs prone to accidents
- All-season use
Look elsewhere if
- Dogs over 26 lb
- Crash protection
- Two dogs
Pros and cons
Pros
- Waterproof liner
- Y-belt
- Dryer-safe cover
Cons
- Small capacity
- Containment only
- Tall in small cars
Limitations to weigh
- Booster seats keep small dogs contained and calmer; they are not crash protection. Clip tethers to a harness, never a collar.
