Why it matters

A triple detection sequence verifies barking, whining and howling and filters ambient noise. Modes are count barking only, pager vibration only, static levels 1–10, or Auto Increase. A free app (33 ft range) changes settings and shows bark reports but is not required. It is IPX9K, charges by USB-C, and the contacts come out for vibration-only use. Dogs 10 lb and up.

Limitations to weigh

Find out why your dog barks first: boredom, fear, separation distress and alerting all need different fixes, and a bark collar can make fear or anxiety worse.
Automatic collars correct every bark they detect, including alarm or distress barks; never leave one on an unsupervised dog for long periods.
Follow the maker's wear limit (often no more than 8 to 12 hours a day), check the neck daily and move the unit to avoid pressure sores.
Static modes are aversive; welfare groups advise trying beep and vibration, enrichment and training before any static correction.
